Chateau on the Lake
A recent article in the Lake of the Ozarks Business Journal stated that the TIF for "Château on the Lake is valid and the project can proceed."
The Château is a $100 million European style, 15 story, 320 room waterfront hotel with a 100,000 square foot convention center and spa developed by John Q. Hammons.
The BJ goes on to say""City Planner Cary Patterson said because convention space far exceeds the rooms, hotels throughout the Lake will also benefit. In addition, he know of other developers that have been waiting for the outcome of the trial before moving forward with plans to build two hotels and a restaurant nearby specifically to handle the "overflow" from the Château."
This is great news for the Lake! I can't wait for construction to start.
