Good News on Lake Water Testing Results
The most recent DNR water testing of Lake of the Ozarks produced nothing but good news, acdcording to Scott Robinett of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
This, the third of six monthly samplings, was taken July 7th between the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge and the 30 Mile Marker. All 55 samples had only low levels of E. coli bacteria. There was nothing that raised any red flags.
DNR also takes weekly samplings at the two public beaches it opperates, Public Beach No. 1 and the Grand Glaize Beach, to ensure a safe public swimming area.
